(SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!)

First of all, I want to say that, even if we went to the same performance, no, I didn’t saw nor Good Ol’ Rusty nor Julie Gardner. I know they were there because I’ve read it on tennant_love (and that explains why I did see RTD the next day, walking down the street) but on the theatre, I was too nervous and excited and everything to notice anything.

And the play… umm, I’m no expert, but I loved it. It was… mesmerizing. I enjoyed it from start to end, and well, even if I thought some things were a little bit too much (that cliffhanger between acts- please, this is NOT the Da Vinci Code!) I would watch it again. And again.
And even pay for it, of course *g*
I wanted to write this great review, but… words fail me. I’m not that much of a writer, even less in a language that’s not my first one. So, I’ll just say that I loved all the performances… Hamlet, so vulnerable but so strong, so determined at the same time; Claudius, menacing and cold but without being the classical villain; Polonius, hilarious… and I even liked the poor Ophelia (well, just sometimes).
The best moment? Not when David almost killed (accidentally) a guy on the first row with a piece of furniture (funny, that one!), but when he was tied to a chair with duct tape (not because of that, you perverts! XD) and said ‘wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!’ while being dragged out of scene… we spent the rest of our holidays going around hopping (hop hop hop!) and saying ‘wheeee’, we’re silly like that : 3
So, the play was FANTASTIC.
And afterwards… the mob. Not so many people, but… it was madness! I didn’t get to see almost anything, just used the technique that worked so well with Orlando: thrusted my right hand with the program in David’s way while I was taking videos with the left in the general direction I thought he was. As I said, I didn’t get to see much because the people who were in front of me were quite tall and to my right there was an idiot with a bunch of flowers that blocked my vision (and my camera too, DAMN!).
In fact, the girl in front of me collapsed to the floor into some sort of nervous attack, and I didn’t even notice (I was being bumped by all sides!) until someone started to shout. Then I crouched and started to fan her with my program… that’s when I noticed that it had some sort of scribbling on it- and I don’t know which face I made, but everyone around me started to laugh ; ) I can’t believe I didn’t even see THAT!
(After some time the girl was able to stand again and went away more or less ok, so everything’s well… : ) )
And… I think that’s all. Oh yes! When I was here, home, looking at the photos… and the videos… I discovered that I HAD DAVID SIGNING MY PROGRAM TAPED!!! :D
(more SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEE, of course!)
And yes, now this is it.
Oh, and he was wearing THAT SHIRT. And no, as I have said here before, I don’t like it.
Some photos...
OH MY THE FRECKLES!!!!! (and the flowers, grrrrr!)

And a couple screencaps from when he was signing my program :)

XDDD)
I bet he makes a good Hamlet...
*siiiiiiiiiiiigggghhhhhhhhhhhhh*
In fact, a friend of mine, Emi, stayed all the way with the girl, I just helped a little bit. She didn't faint though, just... had to sit down, stayed like that for a while, poor thing!
(But those mobs are plain scary... The first time I went to a stage door, some year ago, a fucking bastard hit me with his elbow on my face! On purpose!)
The stage was quite big and all the actors stayed in all of it, at some point. So yes, I had him quite close many times, as much as Patrick Stewart, and the rest. But since I wasn't sitting besides the platforms, no, he didn'¡t run past me exactly :)
I wonder where he was hidding from the fans who "love" him so much! hehe! XDDD
You lucky *****! You got your program signed without looking! Unbelivable! And yes, your face when you realized was priceless! HAHAHA!
I agree with your review except that I liked the cliffhanger between acts. I thought it was funny! Also loved David pose in that one was... yummy yummy... XD
(sometimes I wonder if he dresses like that just to have women wanting him to strip off his clothes...)
;)
such an 80's haircut :P
but yeah, i think he just knows what he likes, and since he gets paid pretty well, he likes good stuf :)
So excited for you. What a nice time it sounded like!
Yes, it was! :D
(I wanted to get a picture in front of that photo but never got around to it. Yours is great!!)
